Cedar/Log Home Restoration

Prep Work:

Pressure wash the area using products that bring life back to weathered wood and preserve new wood.  This is a vital approach for restoring old or discolored wood appearance and preserving new wood without creating further damage from excessive pressure or high volume cleaning procedures.

Products Used:

Weathered Wood Restorer - Removes tannin bleeding, water stains, mildew, mold and discolored surface fiber from all exterior surfaces-decks, wood siding, fences and log homes.

Wood Stain Stripper - Removes deteriorated solid or semi-transparent old base stains and water sealers, and discolored wood fibers.

Latex Stain and Varnish Stripper - Removes peeling latex stains, varnishes, clear coat finishes, and damaged and discolored wood.

Cleaner and Brightener - Removes mill glaze, mildew, water and rust stains and serves as a general surfactant for decks, siding, stucco, vinyl gutters , concrete and fiberglass.

Staining/Sealing - After substrate has had sufficient dry times, a coat of TWP™ (Total Wood Preservative) is applied.  TWP™ penetrates deeply into the wood without excessive surface film build.  It will highlight the natural grain pattern without hiding the wood like paint.  TWP™ will not crack, peel or blister.  We proudly use only TWP™ products because they do not contain unrefined linseed oils which promote mold and mildew growth.
